Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue
This morning, I came up with a simple three card spread to use specifically to connect with one of the Archangels in the Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue (click HERE for a review/deck interview).
Shuffle and cut the deck as usual. Look through the deck until you find the first card with your chosen Archangel (some of the Archangels are featured more than once). Then look for the card before and the one after that and lay them all out with the Archangel card in the middle.
The card on the left represents internal processes that your chosen Archangel is currently helping you with and want you to be aware of. The card on the right shows you which external influence(s) has the most impact right now.
As you can see in the cards above, both internal processes and the external influences are extremely feminine and ‘watery.’ The Queen of Cups is Water of Water and The High Priestess corresponds to the Moon, the celestial ruler of Water/emotions.
And as it just happens, torrential rain is pouring down outside my window. In fact, it’s pouring down all week. I think I’ll take a walk down to the river later on today and check on just how swollen the river Swale is at the minute.
