Daily Lenormand Draw

Daily Draw 23 January 2013

Daily Draw 23 January 2013

Today’s draw is with the Deviled Ham Lenormand, the second deck I created from public domain images. I was going for more of a unified vintage feel in this deck. Like the Lisa Lenormand, this deck too has an extra ‘Guardian Angel’ representing good and the voice of Spirit.

The Deviled Ham Lenormand also has the Deviled Ham card which usually appears when you are being tempted or when something looks too good to be true. You can give in to your temptation but you will find that the enjoyment didn’t last very long and that whatever it was left you feeling depleted or possibly even ill. Something with little nutritional value and possibly damaging. The devil. A seductive man.

So what does today’s row of three tell us? It looks very much like a blessed union or marriage, doesn’t it? A relationship ‘Nirvana’ where every last cloud of doubt and despair has evaporated. A feeling of finally coming home… Which totally reminds me of my ‘animus dream’ from last night:

He appeared as a tall, handsome, green-eyed Norwegian (sic!) indie singer/songwriter who currently resides in California. His best mate owns a vegan restaurant and he’s a vegan himself. He greeted me with ‘Namaste’ outside his mate’s restaurant and then we went looking for a ring.   :)

Realistic? Yeah, in my dreams… and a good fit for today’s cards for sure… The happy feeling of meeting my animus lingers… Who’s to say that’s any less real than this so-called ‘reality’?

Click HERE to download a FREE copy of the Deviled Ham Lenormand. The deck is ‘uncopyrighted’ but a link back is always appreciated!

You can see the full deck on my Facebook Page.

I will return with a second post later on today, documenting the Lenormand workshop I attended on Saturday.

Until then…

Blessings,

  1. Ooh, I wouldn’t mind a dream of a gorgeous Norwegian guy ;) My dreams last night revolved around tacos and carrot cake *doh* Love the sound of your extra cards – the Guardian Angel and the Deviled Ham (the latter fits with my dreams, methinks!)

What an incredibly spiritual draw – your heart being opened and inspired by an insight offered by Spirit. That feeling of connection certainly fits :)

Thank you for offering these decks for download. I think I shall do so, and showcase them in my next Lennie Week as wonderful free resources, if that’s alright with you?

    • Dunno Chloe, carrot cake is pretty divine :D

On a more serious note, this shows the ability of the Lenormand to go quite deep though… and it’s made me think that I could possibly do with reviewing my diet. Not going vegan but definitely need start eating more raw food again.

Please share. Thank you for doing so – that’s what they’re here for :)

      • I totally agree that the Lenormand can go deep. First noticed it when I started seeing images from the Judith Bärtschi Lenormand in my meditations ;)

Lovely, I shall blog with the Deviled Ham Lenormand on the 9th of February (yes, I plan things that way, at least sometimes ;b)

  2. The Deviled Ham and I shall look forward to being in the spotlight! :D

Busy typing up the workshop review now. Such fun!

  3. Okay, you guys, you’re making me want to dig out my Lennies again, and I’ve sort of made a mini-commitment to myself to delve into Thoth at the moment. So many decks, so little time! :)

Lisa, loved your Norwegian vegan dream. :) Why not try a vegan week? I’ve been vegan for more or less 10 years. It would be a great way to kickstart your new healthier eating. (Although it is entirely possible to be vegan and eat nothing but crap. Believe me!).

    • A week sounds doable. Might give it a go! :) Well done for sticking with it, Carla. I iz well impressed!!

Oh, and sorry for enabling. It’s kinda my thing though. Better stay away from here if you are short on time bhahahaha!

      • It hasn’t been hard to do for me, because it is a choice based on some basic moral and ethical conclusions that I reached after much thought and soul-searching. At some point, animal products ceased to be ‘food’ in my mind, and I can honestly say I have never once found the thought of eating them tempting. Quite the reverse.

I have so far resisted the urge to go get the Lenormands out. Yay me!

  4. It will happen when the time is right… you getting your Lennies out and me going Vegan :) x
